Privacy

Minerva is a small pilot project, so this page describes what the system actually does today rather than reserving every right a longer document would. If something here is unclear, ask before signing up.

What is stored

• Your sign-in identity, handled by Clerk. Minerva keeps a row linking that identity to a role you pick once, either teacher or student.
• Which lessons you have completed, so your constellation knows what to unlock.
• Your conversations with the tutor, so the chat is still there when you come back.
• Your practice attempts and whether they were correct, which is what lets the review queue resurface skills you got wrong.
• If you join a class, the fact that you are enrolled in it.

Who else sees it

Tutor messages are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a reply, and sign-in is handled by Clerk. Those are the two external services that touch your data. Nothing is sold, and there is no advertising or analytics profiling on this site.

Teachers and classes

Joining a class links your account to that class. Teacher-facing views of student work are not built yet; when they are, this page will say exactly what a teacher can see before the feature ships.

Deleting your data

You can clear your tutor conversation from inside the app at any time. For full account deletion during the pilot, email the address on the sign-in page and it will be done by hand.

Children

Minerva is aimed at high school coursework. If you are under 13, please have a parent or teacher set this up with you.
