Terms

Last updated August 2026

Minerva is in pilot and free to use. These terms are short on purpose, and describe what you can expect while that is true.

What you get

An account opens the full library of written courses, their practice gates, and the tutor. Lessons and practice are unlimited. Tutor chat has a daily message limit, currently 30 messages a day on a personal account and 150 a day once you join a teacher's class, because each message costs real money to generate. Those numbers may change as usage becomes clearer.

What this is not

Minerva is a study aid, not a school, an accredited course, or a replacement for your teacher. It will not compute the answer to a problem you have been assigned, by design.

Accuracy

Lessons are reviewed by hand and grounded in cited sources, and practice answers are derived symbolically rather than generated. Even so, tutor replies come from a language model and can be wrong. Check anything that matters against the lesson and its sources.

Fair use

Use one account per person, do not share class join codes outside the class they belong to, and do not attempt to scrape the library or automate the tutor. Accounts doing any of those may be closed.

Availability

This runs on modest infrastructure and is still being built, so it may be down or change without notice. Do not rely on it as the only place your work exists.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that affects you, the change will be noted here with a new date at the top.
